All are welcome - for further details contact Richard Drew ~~~~~~~ NOTICE TO MEMBERS MAIN GATE At the General Committee meeting of 21st October the review on the Main Gates opening was discussed. The benefits and disadvantages of allowing the main gates to remain open in daylight hours on weekdays during the trial period it was noted that: 1. There had been no reported crime on the premises; 2. Trade vehicles had access; 3. It was ‘Welcoming’; 4. The Police comments had been considered; 5. There was no impact on the Club’s insurance. It was unanimously agreed that the trial would continue for a further three months, but the timings would reflect the winter months. The gates would be open Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 14:30 hrs. Closed on Saturdays and a Master of Arms would operate Sundays throughout the winter series, 0830-1230 hrs. The results of the trial will be subject to review at the General Committee meeting in January 2009. ******* Parkstone Interclass Pool Tournament
All of Parkstone's Potential Hustlers will be pleased to know that we now have a Pool Table in the President's Room.
Starting from Tuesday 4 November we plan to hold an Club Pool Tournament to be run over Tuesday evenings throughout the Winter months. The idea is for teams of 5 players representing a class, boat or other group. We expect that four individual teams will compete on any given Tuesday, however teams can choose to play their games on another night if that's more convenient.
Entry forms will be available over the next few days & will need to be submitted by the end of October. This should be good fun and, of course, the bar will be open!!
Please e-mail me on barry@rolfe.com & I will make sure you receive an entry form
